Troyal Garth Brooks, born February 7, 1962, best known as Garth Brooks, helped make country music a worldwide phenomenon. Brooks' integration of rock elements into his recordings and live performances has earned him immense popularity. Martina McBride, born Martina Mariea Schiff on July 29, 1966, in Sharon, Kansas, has been called the "Céline Dion of Country Music" for her big-voiced ballads and soprano range. McBride was signed to RCA Records in 1991 and made her debut the following year as a neo-traditionalist country singer with the single, "The Time Has Come." McBride won two CMA awards in the 90's, released 6 albums, and released 20 singles, four of which were number 1's.

Brooks & Dunn was an American country music duo consisting of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, who were both vocalists and songwriters. They were paired by record producer Scott Hendricks in 1991. Signed to Arista Records in 1991, the duo recorded seven studio albums in the 1990's. They released 29 singles in the 90's, of which 14 achieved #1 status on the US Country Charts. Their single, "My Maria", was the top selling track of the 1990's.

Alan Eugene Jackson, born October 17, 1958, in Newnan, Georgia is known for blending honky tonk and mainstream country sounds and penning many of his own hits.
